Events
This will be a short meeting. Plan on talking about our camp out and things we will be doing.
[Note the different time and location for this month's Roundtable.]
This Thursday, August 7, will be the Popcorn Sales kick-off meeting for the
Benton District; each unit's Popcorn Kernel (or a representative) must
attend. The kick-off meeting will take place at Willamette Park in South
Corvallis starting at 6:00 PM.
The meeting will be followed by a S'more cookout at 6:30, with Roundtable
following at approximately 6:45. Those planning to attend Roundtable should
arrive early to join in the S'more cookout.
We have only a few announcements this month so we will break quickly into
Cubs, who will have a fun session on recruitment, and Boy Scouts, who will
hear a key presentation on water safety. We will be ending early due to the
earlier starting time.
Units, please notify your Popcorn Kernel of the 6:00 meeting.

Talk about the Otter Beach swim and anything else we want to be doing like eating?
This will be our fall recruitment effort. We will be talking about exposure in the area and how to recruit more boys. If your scout brings a new classmate(s) and they join our Pack he could get the recruiters badge!
Lots of fun and games, root-beer floats, skits, and summer time awards. LOTS of things to do. Bring a classmate (or just a good friend) and if he joins the Pack, you can get the recruiters badge!
Planning our next Pack Meeting - Boweling Night
Anyone for Bowling? We are planning a bowling night. Cost will be posted as we get a little closer to the event.
Planning the Rain Gutter Regatta. Boat kits will be handed out at the Pack Meeting in October.
