Agenda ideas for Oct-Dec 2007 Pack meetings

Awards for October pack meeting
Andy, Calvin and Adam will all have earned the following:
Forestry Webelos Badge
Computer belt loop
Map and compass belt loop
I have not ordered them from the scout shop but I figured someone would be ordering other awards and the regatta awards

Pack meeting agenda addition
The Webelos have a skit to perform. We will be meeting at 6:10 before the pack meeting to review it since we haven't worked on it for a couple weeks because of field trips.

Hornaday Award
I am going to start working on writing it up and plan to have it done by the end of October. I need the dates that the wolfs and bears worked on the bird houses last year. I could also use any more pictures of boys making bird houses and the boys at Chintimini.

I would also like the new boys to have the opportunity to make a birdhouse for Chintimini so they can be a part of the award. Plus the more bird houses the better! Jim has some more wood. The webelos have some kestrel houses they are working on. I will be trying to arrange a time with Jeff to put them all up the the first week in November so if the tigers, wolves, bears or first year webelos want to make some (or some more) plan to have them done by October 30th. Please take photos as your making them for the application.

November pack meeting
November 8th the parent meeting is scheduled for is a no school day. In fact, there is no school November 7th, 8th, 9th and 12th so it's a 6 day weekend and some people may be gone. So we may want to consider meeting on Tuesday night the 6th?
I didn't realize when we scheduled these meetings, that I have a standing commitment on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 pm so I can't really make a meeting at 6:30. Perhaps, those meeting could all be on the Tuesday evenings after round table instead which actually give us a couple extra prep days between the parent meeting and the pack meeting?

December pack meeting
Dave is going to work on the track to try to make at least two tracks working evenly.

I think that is it!
